Sinwave Rave and The Signal Screams are two Dark Star Radio programs I developed to explore and refine the voice, personality, and on-air presence of my fictional character, Lady Desire.
Both programs serve as creative experiments in character-driven broadcasting, allowing me to develop Lady Desire's dialogue, presentation style, audience interaction, and performance through live radio.
The shows continue to air on a flexible, alternating schedule as I balance broadcasting with my academic and other commitments. I am currently evaluating which format I want to continue developing long-term.

Discussion-Based Radio | Broadcast & Audio Production
Status: On Hold | Planned Revival
Mourning Coffee began as a daily radio program and gradually evolved into a more structured, discussion-based format. As my first broadcast focused on substantive content beyond music programming, the show became an opportunity to develop my skills in hosting, content planning, audience engagement, and broadcast structure.
Over time, I refined the show's format and presentation, incorporating more intentional programming and conversational content.
Although Mourning Coffee is currently on hold, I intend to revive the program in the future.

Experimental Creative Writing | Interactive Storytelling & Radio Production
Status: Discontinued | Archived
Morbital was an experimental radio program combining music programming with creative writing challenges. The concept encouraged participants to create short stories using a selection of predetermined words, with the stories incorporated throughout the broadcast.
Although the program was intended to encourage collaborative storytelling and inspire more frequent writing, participation was limited, and I ultimately developed and presented the stories independently.
The experience led me to reconsider the format. Rather than combining storytelling with music programming, I am exploring a dedicated storytelling show that places creative writing, audience participation, and collaboration at the center of the experience.

TELEVISION TREATMENT
A written overview of a television series' concept, characters, and story.
A Merger of Worlds Limited Series
Format: Television Limited Series
Genre: Dark YA Fantasy / Supernatural Drama
Structure: 20 Episodes | 20 Days | One Awakening
Status: In Development
Same soul. Different world.
At Ravencroft Prep, a defiant goth teen with awakening frost powers discovers that mirrors connect her to Dreme, a hidden parallel realm where her presence can break supernatural mind control and threaten the ruler who depends on it.
Lady Vade's Awakening is the first limited series in A Merger of Worlds, an expanding supernatural fantasy multiverse built around connected realms, fractured realities, and the consequences of worlds coming together.
The series follows Xianique Vade, a defiant teenager navigating family conflict, social expectations, and the emergence of supernatural abilities she does not yet understand.
As the boundary between Earth and Dreme begins to weaken, Xianique discovers that her presence threatens the supernatural control holding Dreme's inhabitants captive.
Told across 20 consecutive days, the story explores identity, agency, belonging, and the difference between protection and control.
Episode 1: "Frost Breath"
Xianique wakes before dawn beneath faint auroras, her breath turning to frost in the dark as Malice curls at her feet and her bedroom mirror ripples like something alive. At Ravencroft Prep, her combat boots and defiant style make her a target, but a subtle frost flicker around her feet reveals that something inside her is waking. Professor Lucian notices the impossible cold, Coach Adams quietly tells her to breathe, and Xianique ends the day realizing the strange things happening to her are no longer easy to ignore.
Episode 8: "First Breath in Dreme"
Xianique wakes beneath Dreme's aurora sky and discovers that her frost is no longer subtle but physical, visible, and alive around her. Lost Dreme children, Veil-touched citizens, and fantasy beings begin waking from Shanteluu's control simply by being near her, revealing that her presence is dangerous to the system before she understands why. When she stumbles into an abandoned cathedral, she meets Lord Seveyus, whose shadows react to her frost as their first resonance ignites. The moment is not romantic yet, but it gives Xianique her first sense that someone can recognize her power without trying to own it.
Episode 20: "The Quiet Merge"
As the Quiet Merge takes hold, Earth and Dreme become one layered world again, where ordinary reality and magical reality occupy the same space. The awakened, the believing, and those touched by the Veil see auroras, frost, shadows, fae, and other mythological beings in their true forms. Most people perceive those beings as ordinary humans, animals, or strangers, while those who reject the supernatural explain uncanny signs away as weather, stress, folklore, coincidence, or imagination.
The series explores identity, freedom, chosen family, and personal agency through a supernatural coming-of-age narrative.
Its development incorporates original character creation, interconnected worldbuilding, television episode architecture, narrative planning, and long-form story development.

TV SERIES BIBLE

TELEVISION WRITER'S BIBLE | SELECTED EXCERPT
Created by Jessika Darkstar
Writing as W. L. O'Fallon
20 EPISODES. 20 DAYS. ONE AWAKENING.
Same soul. Different world.
Character profiles serve as writer-facing references for maintaining consistent motivations, relationships, emotional development, and dialogue throughout the series.
Established story facts are treated as canon, while details still under development remain intentionally open.
Protagonist | Earth / Dreme
Core Personality: Brilliant, observant, defiant, guarded, dryly funny, emotionally intense, and accustomed to surviving by revealing as little vulnerability as possible.
Public Face: A goth teenager who appears stubborn, aloof, difficult to impress, and determined not to give other people the satisfaction of seeing her rattled.
Private Self: Frightened by how little control she has over her changing body and power, deeply lonely, curious about her father, and hungry for a kind of safety that does not require obedience.
External Want: Understand her frost, auroras, mirrors, her father's disappearance, and why Dreme responds to her.
Internal Need: Learn that agency does not require isolation and that being seen, loved, guided, or protected does not have to mean being owned.
Central Contradiction: She desperately wants someone to understand her, yet visibility has taught her to expect punishment, judgment, or possession.
Voice / Behavior Notes: Her dialogue should rarely sound eager to explain herself. She is more likely to deflect, challenge, observe, or test another person before revealing fear. Emotional honesty lands hardest when it is brief and chosen.
Open Development: Exact age, birthday, appearance specifics beyond the established goth/combat-boot identity, and the full history of her father remain available to define as the teleplays develop.
Romantic Lead / Ally | Dreme | Fractured Lord
Core Personality: Quiet, restrained, watchful, patient, formidable, and more comfortable demonstrating care than naming it.
Public Face: A powerful Dreme sovereign whose stillness can read as coldness or threat.
Private Self: Carries the burden of power carefully because he understands how easily protection can become domination.
External Want: Keep Xianique alive, understand what her awakening means for Dreme, and resist Shanteluu's control over the realm.
Internal Need: Learn how to love and protect without deciding for Xianique, even when fear makes control feel easier.
Central Contradiction: He has immense power, but his most meaningful choice is often what he refuses to do with it.
Voice / Behavior Notes: Economical speech. He should not over-explain feelings. His restraint makes small admissions, questions, or permissions emotionally significant.
Open Development: The precise history among Seveyus, Shanteluu, and Louis before the series is not fully defined and can be expanded later.
Primary Antagonist | Dreme | Fractured Lord
Core Personality: Charismatic, calculating, possessive of order, psychologically perceptive, and convinced that control is necessary.
Public Face: A ruler whose authority can appear effortless because many people under his influence do not recognize that their agency has been taken.
Private Self: Terrified of proof that his power is not absolute.
External Want: Gain control of Xianique before her awakening dismantles the supernatural system sustaining his rule.
Central Contradiction: He presents control as stability, but the system requires constant suppression because it cannot survive genuine choice.
Voice / Behavior Notes: He should rarely sound frantic. Even when threatened, he is strongest when he frames domination as reason, inevitability, or protection.
Open Development: His visual design, exact origin within the fractured power, and the mechanics and limitations of his influence can be further formalized.
Supernatural rules should remain emotionally legible before they become technical.
Every power manifestation should reveal where Xianique is in her twenty-day awakening: what she fears, refuses, chooses, protects, or finally claims.
Magic should deepen character pressure rather than provide an easy solution to conflict.
Frost is Xianique's earliest visible power language. It responds to fear, breath, refusal, protection, and choice.
In early Earth episodes, it appears involuntarily as spirals, breath, flowers, and cold surfaces. In Dreme, it becomes more physical and responsive.
As the story progresses, frost should evolve from an uncontrolled symptom into a deliberate expression of Xianique's decisions.
Mirrors progress through five narrative stages:
Unsettling reflection
Warning surface
Responsive threshold
Communication point
Gateway
Mirrors reveal truth before they offer passage.
A mirror scene should force Xianique to see, choose, or acknowledge something she has been avoiding.
Resonance is support, not override.
Seveyus controls shadows, which can stabilize, shield, conceal, warn, and reach across the Veil when specific conditions allow.
His protection may reach Earth when Xianique is in danger, when the Veil is disturbed, or when their bond is emotionally aligned.
However, he cannot use resonance to command Xianique's frost, make choices for her, possess her, or bypass the consequences of her actions.
The bond works because both characters remain present and willing.
Shanteluu's supernatural influence suppresses identity and agency.
His control manifests through barely visible purple light in the eyes of those under his influence. The light moves with shadow-like behavior and glitch-like interference but is not true shadow magic.
Continuity Distinction: Seveyus controls actual shadows. Shanteluu controls people through supernatural influence represented by purple eye-light.
These powers should remain visually and narratively distinct.
Magic should never resolve a scene without emotional cost, setup, or consequence.
New abilities should emerge from previously established motifs, emotional states, Veil behavior, or relationship dynamics.
If a supernatural event does not change Xianique's understanding, danger, trust, agency, or next choice, it should be reconsidered or reserved for broader worldbuilding.
Recurring visual motifs function as narrative tools rather than decorative elements.
They should develop alongside the characters and communicate changes in identity, emotional pressure, and supernatural activity.
Meaning: Awakening without permission.
Writer / Screen Use: Appear when Xianique's power surfaces before she is ready to explain or control it. Their scale and visibility increase as the Veil weakens.
Meaning: Truth, identity, and consequence.
Writer / Screen Use: Begin as unsettling reflections, become thresholds, and eventually function as gateways. Mirrors should reveal or challenge what characters are trying not to see.
Meaning: Sanctuary and chosen family.
Writer / Screen Use: Dead Til Mourning and its Dreme counterpart ground Xianique emotionally. Warm, ordinary rituals provide contrast against supernatural pressure.
Meaning: Surveillance, control, and identity suppression.
Writer / Screen Use: Shanteluu's influence appears as subtle violet interference in the eyes of those under his control.
The effect should remain difficult to notice until Xianique begins recognizing its significance.
Meaning: Power blooming beyond containment.
Writer / Screen Use: Appear where magic should not exist and signal that Earth and Dreme are beginning to remember one another.
Meaning: Agency over panic.
Writer / Screen Use: Breathing begins as a way to survive fear and develops into a physical language for choosing how Xianique uses her power.
It connects Coach Adams's early grounding techniques to Seveyus's later training.
Motifs should track story movement rather than function as repeated decoration.
A returning image should intensify, change context, reveal new information, or gain a different emotional meaning as Xianique changes.
Frost that begins as an involuntary symptom can later become deliberate creation. A mirror that begins as a warning can later become a choice.
20 Episodes. 20 Days. One Awakening.
Lady Vade's Awakening uses a three-act narrative structure spanning the entire limited series, with each episode representing one consecutive day in Xianique's transformation.
The acts organize the larger narrative rather than the internal structure of individual episodes.
Each act represents a stage of Xianique's emotional development, supernatural awakening, and changing relationship with the worlds around her.
Episodes 1–7 | Survival Through Hiding
Xianique believes secrecy is the only way to remain safe.
The first act establishes her ordinary life on Earth as supernatural disturbances become increasingly difficult to ignore.
Frost, auroras, and responsive mirrors gradually force her to confront what she has been avoiding.
Act Turning Point: Xianique makes the deliberate choice to cross the Veil into Dreme.
Episodes 8–14 | Recognition, Trust & Restraint
Dreme introduces new dangers, relationships, and responsibilities.
Xianique discovers that her presence disrupts Shanteluu's control, while her developing relationship with Seveyus challenges her understanding of protection and independence.
She begins learning that accepting guidance does not require surrendering agency.
Act Turning Point: Seveyus's protective shadow reaches across the Veil, demonstrating the growing connection between the two worlds.
Episodes 15–20 | Agency & Transformation
As Earth and Dreme move closer together, Xianique becomes increasingly deliberate in how she responds to danger.
Rather than allowing others to define her, she begins choosing what she will protect, what she will refuse, and how she will use her power.
The act builds toward her transformation into Lady Vade.
Narrative Resolution: Xianique claims her identity and agency as the relationship between Earth and Dreme fundamentally changes.
The series progresses from survival through hiding, to recognition without control, to conscious agency.
Each episode contributes to this progression while maintaining its own immediate conflict and turning point.
The twenty-day structure creates continuity between episodes while allowing the emotional, relational, and supernatural stakes to escalate.
The writer's bible includes a reusable worksheet for expanding individual episode summaries into scene-by-scene beat sheets, act outlines, and teleplays.
Episode Question: What emotional or practical problem must Xianique solve today?
A Story: Primary plot movement for Xianique.
B Story: Relationship or Earth/Dreme secondary movement.
Opening Image: The image or situation that establishes the day's pressure.
Inciting Turn: What makes today different from yesterday?
Midpoint: What revelation, reversal, or escalation changes the episode?
Climax: What choice or confrontation resolves the day's immediate pressure?
Tag / Ending Turn: What changes the conditions for the next episode?
Character Movement: How is Xianique different by the end?
Mythology Movement: What new Veil, Lord, mirror, frost, or resonance information is established?
Continuity Notes: Props, injuries, costumes, knowledge, relationships, or unresolved details that must carry forward.
For development of this television version, the television treatment controls current canon.
The earlier book outline remains a source for scene ideas, locations, character beats, motifs, and connective material when those elements do not conflict with the revised television story.
Character-profile details marked TBD or Open Development are intentionally unresolved and should not be treated as established canon until developed in later outline or teleplay work.
The main story belongs to Xianique.
Every episode should track what she experiences, chooses, fears, learns, refuses, or claims within the twenty-day awakening structure.
Supporting characters may carry rich mysteries, histories, relationships, and unanswered questions, but those threads should enter the series only when they pressure Xianique's choices, deepen her understanding of herself, complicate her trust, or reveal the world through her emotional journey.
The primary dramatic camera should remain with Xianique.
Supporting-character information should be revealed when Xianique discovers it, is affected by it, misinterprets it, needs it, or chooses how to respond to it.
If a scene does not change Xianique's understanding, danger, trust, agency, or next choice, it should be considered potential spinoff material rather than central-series material.
Secondary characters should be written with intentionally unresolved possibilities.
A withheld answer, hinted history, unresolved loyalty, strange symbol, or relationship that does not fully resolve can invite audience curiosity without requiring the limited series to explain every character.
These openings should feel intentional and emotionally specific, rather than accidental gaps.
The goal is a complete emotional season arc for Xianique, surrounded by characters whose histories and relationships leave room for future stories.
